How to Play Key9

DaySudoku gives you one daily Key9 puzzle.

1. Find the 9 highlighted cells.
2. Place today’s fixed tiles, 1 through 9.
3. Unlock today’s Sudoku before 9 misses.
4. Continue and finish the full Sudoku board.

A correct tile locks into the board. A wrong tile returns to the tray and adds one miss. If you reach 9 misses, the official Key9 result is Missed, but you can still retry Key9 as practice or continue the Sudoku.

Results

• Clean Unlock: 0 misses and 0 hints.
• Unlocked: 1 to 8 misses, no hints.
• Assisted Unlock: You used a hint.
• Missed: You reached 9 misses before unlocking. Practice and full Sudoku remain available.
